Digging in plants

One of our ferrets, Theo, loves to dig in anything he can get to.

Recently I took a box and filled it up quarter way with dried beans, and cut a hole in the top so he could crawl in and out. I also had to tape up the outside so the beans didn’t get out. He made quite a mess with it at first, but since I made that box he’s left the one plant we have left alone. He digs in it every day with a passion.

Don’t know if this will help but it helped us and our palm tree.
