We're in the middle of winter here in Oz and so the ugg boots are out! I try not to forget to put them up out the way in the wardrobe when I dress for work but if I do, I come home and find my little guy has taken the boots and tried to stash them under cupboards or chests of drawers or wherever he can drag them under.
Ferrets are just the most ingenious little thieves - LOL!

Pat has decided that my flip flops belong in the closet and not at the door. He drags them one at a time to my closet and I put them back, we did this for about an hour before he had to snack and take a nap.

My ferret also loves a roll of toilet paper.
Sometimes if I know I'm going to be gone a little longer than usual, I leave one where he can find it by "accident."
He thinks he hit the jack pot and has a good ole time ending with a nice snuggly nap.

I have an albino ferret that loves doing the same. Especially ones with odor eaters or cushion soles in them. It's so funny how they like the worst smelling things. I bet he isn't to happy when he goes looking for your shoes/boots now when you get home, but such is the life of a ferret: all the fun things get taken away because they're all the naughty things.

It is sorta funny when new people come over and they take off their shoes and Pat goes right for them! He actually dragged my son's work boot under the sink!

!!! OMG !!! It's got to be a ferret trait!!! So Cute!!!
You'd think Ed would have learned by now to keep his boots up but No !!! Then he's tearing the room apart looking for them. The kids (ferrets) get a kick out of it.
