Slinky

Slinky wasn't our Ferret but the mother of our two newest additions, Astra and Kazooie.

Yesterday the young son didn't latch the cage properly and she escaped and before anybody could get to her the neighbour's dog had caught her. Unfortunately she died of internal injuries very quickly.

Always make sure your fuzzy is kept safe. Luckily the other five ferrets didn't realise the cage was unlatched -- it could have been worse.
