Sleeping Beauty

My precious ferret Tinker, who recently passed away from Insulonima at the age of 5 had the run of the downstairs of my home and could go up the enclosed stairway and play in my bedroom that was very ferret proofed.

I saw him go up there one early evening and I went to get him after a short time. Well, he was nowhere to be found. I searched high and low for him, rang the bell I used to get him to come to me, but no luck.

After about 30 frantic minutes I went over my bedroom from ceiling to floor. I found that little stinker. He dug a hole in the bottom of my bed box spring and decided to fall asleep. I looked under the bed and there was a good size "lump" in my box spring. After that, I had to close off that room to him.

I miss him so much.

I now have a 2 month old that looks just like him named Rascal. Gotta love these little clowns.
