Rubbermaid tubs and Dryers

by Ben Edgren
(Madison, WI, USA)

My two free-range ferrets loved to get into Rubbermaid tubs. We lost one for a whole day and a half and found him in a tub that he somehow shovel-nosed open and got in, but couldn't get out because of the stuff on top. He is an albino and I am sure to keep all lids secure and with something on top now.

The other one, a sable, liked to crawl in the dryer and more than once I would find her in there after a day of frantic searching. Just wanted to reiterate how important it is to check the dryer and washer before using them. You would think this is common sense, even if you don't have a ferret.

It amazes me how some people wander through life without getting hit by trucks or being run over by a steamroller coming a mile away, the way they don't pay attention to the world around them.

Those are my stories (many others are there, but I'll save those for another day).

Sincerely,
Ben, Ash and Cinders
