LuLu had a happy 7 months with you that she would not have had at the shelter. She will be at the gate waiting for you, ready to play with you when the time comes.
For what it's worth. I do know how you feel, I lost 3 of my take ins. I call them take-ins, because I got them given to me by other people who no longer wanted them - why is beyond me. I'll never understand why people get pets just to give them away or worse. For the short time I had with these 3 I know they knew they were loved & I felt the love they gave back. Yes I do miss them & the tears well never stop. With each of the babies I have gotten since the love for them is just as strong, if not stronger.
So if ferrets are the pet you enjoy, why not try getting another, They will never take the place of your Lulu.
