Curious

Ok I live in a apartment and I have a little boy ferret named Aldo. I'm not sure how old he is but anyways. . He wandered into the kitchen and ended up underneath the dishwasher. My fiance had to break the bottom panel of it to get him out and make sure he was ok. Now since its broken he can just wonder in and out. Should I be concerned?
