I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost 2 ferrets Hermes aka Mr. Herms and Rocky. We have a tribute to them. My daughter even made a youtube tribute to Hermes. I understand the sorrow in letting them go. I do have some comfort in knowing that some day we will all be together again. We can kiss their sweet faces and love on them for all eternity.
Some things that help me each day.. I have 2 ferret angels I bought from ebay - they are stakes and I put them with flowers around them in memory. I have their urns and candles. I also have photos of them up with poems. There is a candle lighting ceremony online too. All these things have helped us with the terrible loss.
I hope that you find peace in your heart. My heart says that Casper was welcomed to the rainbow bridge by all of our lost ferrets and now she is playing and dancing and dooking!

I UNDERSTAND! I LOST MY FERRET BANDIT A FEW MONTHS BACK.
I MISSED HIM SO MUCH I WENT OUT A BOUGHT TWO TWIN FERRETS -- THEIR NAMES ARE SUMMER AND COJO.
BANDIT WILL ALWAY BE IN MY HEART AND FAMILY BUT I FEEL LIKE IF SOMETHING PASSES, YOUR HEART WILL OPEN UP FOR SOMETHING OR SOMEONE TO COME INTO IT SO I FEEL YOUR LOSS BUT KEEP YOUR HEART OPEN TO LOVE AND JOY. BANDIT'S MOM

I wept reading your tribute to Casper but I believe we will meet our little friends again when it's our time to go to the Bridge. Take comfort in knowing she had the best life with you and knew she was loved. Now she's well and not in pain any more and will be there waiting for you.
