My two youngest ones have just turned one and they are never still, everything is new and needs to be explored so I can imagine what a shock it must have been to lose Boot Boot.

I am so sorry for your loss, I know how painful the loss of your beloved ferret is. Your story sounds like what happened to my pet ferret, Nikomi.
Nikomi passed rapidly and unexpectedly on February 27, 2009 from juvenille lymphocarsenoma, a rare form of cancer in young ferrets. Boot Boot was the same age as Nikomi. If you looked this up, it may bring some closure at least to know why your fuzzy was taken so soon.
I am so sorry. It is not easy. Do not let anyone tell you when it is time to stop grieving...Doing an online memorial to your pet may help you in the greiving provess. God Bless Tim Smith
